day no 1 in training…

September 25th, 2009 | Category: Blog

This weekend I´m going the BODYBALANCE™ initial training. We´re at Iform at Lidingö - and our trainer is the very talented and lovely Kristin. Today was the first day out of three. Compared to the BODYJAM® initial training this is a bit less intense - and not as sweaty -but still it´s long days with a lot of movement, training and information.

As all the Les Mills trainings, we got a track to learn for tomorrow - that we´re gonna present for the rest of the group.
I have track no 3: standing strenght. On the dvd it´s presented by my friend Josef - and I´m very happy to learn from him. He´s great - and he outshines anyone!

September 24th, 2009 | Category: Blog

Off to the Odenplan-gym for a jazz class and then some core.

I´m gonna give last week´s choreo one more chance - with some slightly modifications to it…

This is the song…

September 23rd, 2009 | Category: Blog

My friend Marc is one of the finalists to be the fitness host for a new TV show in New York City. Help him out!!!

Vote for him to be the Hunky Trainer… Click on the link - and then go to the poll and vote for him!!! And if you got the time, write a cool comment!

Not only is he a hunky trainer - he is also an extravagant trainer - and one of the most positive persons I´ve ever met… His personality and energy is a true inspiration and he is worth every victory!

Big and blue…

September 22nd, 2009 | Category: Blog

After a great and intense weekend my body and mind has been just a tiny bit tired - it was the great energy from my very best participants that made my three classes yesterday - for sure!

This is the last week of choreo at both monday´s and wednesday´s street dance classes.. a great opportunity to dance it out! And next week we´ll do something new, right?!

Also, I´ve been back to the ER with Fredrik - this time at St Görans sjukhus. We met two doctors, who I guess doesn´t work out that often them selves (not because of their shapes but because of their approach)… and a physio therapist - that was great! His foot is just keep getting bigger and bigger and bluer and bluer…

Nike goes west and south…

September 20th, 2009 | Category: Blog

This weekend I´ve been on tour - literally… The Nike Tour. I flew down to Göteborg friday noon with my Nike Team boss, Lina, to help her out with the preparations for the weekend.

Yesterday (saturday) we had an amazing day at Fysiken in Göteborg, and today (sunday) we had an equally amazing day at Gerdahallen in Lund.

We do the same classes/same schedule in all the cities - but the presenters varies a bit from city to city.

I teached my Tribal House class both days, and I´m very happy with the feedback of the class that I´ve received from the participants.

Fredrik was teaching today in Lund - and he presented one of the news for this year; outdoor training.

I could tell he was really excited about teaching the class and fully charged of energy. Then he had the worse bad luck - when he demonstrated an exercise he hurt his foot, and tore the ligaments in his foot - and had to go to the ER.

Or - he had the sweetest two participants ever that helped him out and drove him to the ER. I feel so sorry for him… It was scary!! We should always be grateful that we can move and exercise and use our bodies as we wish…I am - for sure!

Take a look at some of the pictures from the weekend.. (for even more pics - go to my swedish blog at fitness-magazine )

One of my best regulars, Lena had a new shirt in honor of the day - just for me… which made me extrordinary happy!

And I liked the shirt - fo shizzle…

Super Saturday 2009

September 15th, 2009 | Category: Blog

…is done - and it was an awesome event. We had a new venue this year - Annexet which is mainly used for concerts and that kind of events.. There were over 1200 participants that joined me and the other trainers for a day filled with classes and a lot of fun!!

We had Glen, Lisa, Sarah, Rachael and Dr Dave from New Zealand visiting for great master classes. I teached one class; the last class of the day, BODYJAM® with Mrs C and Sarah Robinsson. It was a pretty cool feeling to be on that big stage with over 600 people to participate. For those who didn´t wanted to dance there was sparkling wine served while they could watch the class and join us - in spirit :)

A lot of love and a big thank you to all of you who did joined the class and made it to a magical moment!

Good run!

September 09th, 2009 | Category: Blog

Don´t you just love running?? I do! I feel strong when I´m out running, and I think it´s one of the best way ever to get an awesome cardio workout. It´s a good combination to any other workouts, and dancing…and yoga… And the best place to run is around Kungsholmen: great view - and good surface to run at.

During the summer I´ve been running across Williamsburg Bridge, back and forward - which is fine too.  Talk about a great view there - one of the greatest I believe…lol!

Not so good is that it´s just asphalt all the way, and also, I don´t like to turn around and run back the same way twice (or more) I like it when I can run around something. How ever it was a good route to do some speedtraining at - since it´s pretty flat and not that far that I use to run.. and it felt really good today when I ran a bit longer and tried to maintain my improved speed.

Two down - two to go!

September 06th, 2009 | Category: Blog

I talk about trips to Norway.

This fall turned out to be very Norway-friendly… In a little less then two months I have four Norway-events booked, and this weekend it was the second one;  a BODYJAM® quarterly in Oslo.

I had some great travel company, nice and sweet participants and a lot of fun with my group. The class went by so fast - it felt like 10 min. The norweigan instructors seemed to enjoy the 50th release - and especially the mambo block, and the tribal house. My favourite song of this release is probably the recovery; Blame It by Jamie Foxx feat. T-Pain.

Today I´ve celebrated a friend of mine that had her birthday the other day… I had to get you some photo evidence - cause THIS doesn´t happen very often…
