My three summer months in NYC has passed by really quick - as usual…

 I´m back in Stockholm - I´ve sure missed my apt, it was a lovely reunion

This has been such a good summer, I feel truly blessed that I´m able to do what I love the most - everyday - and that I´m well - and can use my body the way I want to and love..!

That´s something worth a lot of appreciation - which I feel to the fullest!

Since I got back I´ve done two conventions, and a week of great classes at SATS. Great - thanks to the amazing crowds… So happy to see you all!

Åsa that comes to my classes wrote about my last week wednesday class at her blog - Thank you so much.. I got so happy and all warm in my heart when I read it - it´s always a true pleasure to have you in class!

This weekend I was in Bergen, for “Sprek og Blids” convention. It was my first time in Bergen - and at that convention, which was very well organized, with really nice and sweet participants.

I was in a good company of presenters;  here´s me, Oscar and Marc - who both did awesome classes and lectures!

When I had lunch with a friend the other day he played one of the songs from his upcoming album for me.. He´s about to relase an album with covers. And when I listened to his song something weird happened.. It was such a strong feeling that hit me inside…

Cause I used to love this song - a lot - and I haven´t heard it in years.. and even forgot about it - and now, he has recorded it - and with his beautiful voice it sounded amazing.. It really moved me.

This is what´s it all about - right? We all want somebody to share our innermost thoughts - and that knows our intimate details.. and still love us!

No mather if it´s a partner or a really close friend.. like a best friend.

…is the 2nd saturday of the summer streets event. I´ll be teaching at the same place (outside the union sq location@ 12th st/4th ave) same time (11am) and same class (tribal house parteeey)

After that I´ll be teaching street jazz at Lafayette at 3 pm!

In about a week I´ll go to Scandinavia… can´t say I´m ready for it - but I guess I´ll never be that.

How ever - I´m looking forward to all the awesome events I´m booked for AND to see my participants again.. especially ”my crew” that always bring their energy and their engagement to my classes… I´ve missed you!!

C u in class! 

Yesterday it was the first saturday (out of three) of the Summer Streets in NYC. Crunch offers free classes outside at Union Sq - and they´ve chosen a range of classes to present - and expose at this event. My Tribal House Party is one of them and I´m very excited for that.

I got some support from Robert - that´s just came to NYC. He´s a former dance student to my roomie, Hanna, and actullay - he´s also a BODYJAM-instructor.. Now he´s here to go to school.

After the summer streets -  I went of to take class, a lyrical jazz… which was amazing.

When I first started my dance training on a more serious and professional level I took classes like lyrical and contemporary every day - both in school and then extra in the evenings - and later on I found new ways and styles and broaden my view.. 

But yesterday, I got that magical feeling that brought me back to that place when I first discovered how much dance ment to me..

Well - it´s magical every day when I get to dance and move.. but this was something special…

My friend and co-worker Eunice teached a Beach Body 2009 after me which attracted a lot of the inhabitants of Manhattan…

16 days..  I´m gonna keep doing this every day.. to remind myself, and to put some pressure on me (and you can follow my journey on the learning of BODYJAM 50 - LOL)

Today - I haven´t even slept my way through the music.. I´m gonna pull myself togehter though when I get back to the city.

This was my last day in the beautiful beach house in East Hampton. I´ll teach my last class at Summerkicks tomorrow morning and then I´m heading back.

I´ve had a great crowd everyday so far - and it´s a very mixed crowd… 

For example; one of the participants is a well known american actress - that´s been in the Sex and the city show… my favourite all times - and also in Fredriks favourite; Law and Order - SUV.. Good stuff!

…and I tried to listened to the music today as well, at the same spot as yesterday = the beach, but it´s so hard to stay awake for the whole release..

I´ve done two classes at Summerkicks - and have two more to go before I´m heading back to the city at thursday.

..has arrived. And I´ve got 18 days to learn it..

August 22nd I´ll present the brand new release at the “Korpen´s summer convention” in Stockholm.

I listened to the release for the first time today while I was relaxing at the beach in the sun, half awake, half sleeping… It´s a mix of well known styles in BODYJAM® and also some news.. of course!

When I heard the pitbull single in february, I know you want me - I knew that it was going to be a BJ-song.. and in this release it comes

We all got our different way of learning in the releases.. For some it works best to start practice really early - a little bit at a time.. For me; it´s the same technique as I´ve always had; in school, at dance rehearsals, at the university..and so on.. I work the best under pressure!

We can call the summer convention a kind of a sneak peak… cause the BIG premiere is at Super Saturday, September 12th.

I´ll be presenting with Mrs Rachael Cohen and Ms Sarah Robinson. I´m really looking forward to that!!

I´ve got a great week ahead of me…

Monday to thursday I´ll be teaching classes at Summerkicks in the East Hamton. Class at 9.30 am every day!! Then off to the beach to maintain the tan I worked so hard for at the Bahamas.. it´s a tough job, but someone´s got to do it.. Thursday and friday I´ll be teaching my Tribal House Party classes at Crunch, as usual. New choreo this week!

Saturday I´ll present Tribal House Party at the Summer streets event in New York City. The whole Lafayette will be closed down for traffic and there will be a lot of great activities… Classes from Crunch is one of the cool things offered on the schedule…outside, on the street - and it is for free.. Join me at 11 am!

I´ve had some great lazy days in the Bahamas… no dance, no group fitness, no gym.. just the sun, the sea and island tempo…

But now I´m back to the city and to work, and that feels great too.. Two classes at BDC tomorrow for my own practice - and I just got back from teaching my tribal house class.

Last week it was an ethnic fusion of participants from Russia, China, Japan, and some americans.. and also - some fancy guests from Sweden: sweet Oscar Nilsson and his boyfriend, and their friend Sophie. 

This week the diversity expanded even more with some french ladies… I LOVE New York!!
